Saluting our Volunteers

This year our region will be giving out an award for the Volunteer of the Month, and at the end of the season we will be announcing an award for Volunteer of the Year.

This award is open to all registered volunteers within our region and we are including coaches, referees, Team Managers and Board Members or other volunteers that consistently do work beyond what is expected from their role within our region.

The Volunteer of the Month will receive a $100 gift certificate from a local restaurant and they will have their bio and picture featured on our web site.  At the volunteer banquet an award will be presented to the Volunteer of the Year.  There will be no repeat winners during the course of a calendar year.

The Executive Board has put together a 3-person nominating committee to help the Regional Commissioner select this individual each month.  It would be appreciated if other Board Members could submit names and justifications for other volunteers for future months.  Also, non-board members will be allowed to nominate individuals from this link here.
