AYSO Safe Haven Training Now Available Online

Attention all Volunteers
AYSO National has requested that ALL volunteers need to register through their website at www.eayso.org.
Safe Haven is a mandatory course that all volunteers must take if you are working with youth. This includes Coaches and Assistants, Referees and Team Managers. If you didn't get this training in formal classroom instruction, here is your chance to take it now. You will need your volunteer ID from www.eayso.org then click here to take the course at aysotraining.org.
Practice Locations
Coaches, not every park or school in Downey is an eligible practice site. Our permits only cover the following sites listed under Fields. Do not practice at any other park or school. You will not be covered under our insurance and you will be asked to leave. Also please adhere to the division restrictions. This is to spread practices out so we don't overrun a single site.
Available Board Positions
We are looking to fill a couple key positions on our regional soccer board. If you are interested in helping bring a quality program to our youth, please click here for more information on the following positions. Participation at the Board level counts towards your mandatory volunteer hours.
College Scholarship Program
Scholarship application deadline extended to April 1st.
Scope: To provide assistance for continuing education through the award of up to four (4) scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each to current high school seniors and/or current college students who have served in volunteer positions within Region 24.
